Sweet Mona's Chocolate Boutique, The Village Luthier (Realty / Offices / WIMI / Tranquil Computer)
1973: Linda Anderson's building

In 1973, Linda Anderson built the first building in what became the "Langley Village." According to her son, Steve O'Sullivan, Linda moved her South Island Realty business there, and his father, Cornelius ("Con") O'Sullivan, worked as a broker in that office.
In 1982, Linda remained with South Island Realty when Con opened "O'Sullivan Real Estate" next door.
With Linda still at the helm, it later became the Langley office of Coldwell Banker Tara Properties. Harlan J. Mason, CPA also had an office in rear of the building (Suite 16C) for a time. Harlan ("skip") Demuth's "Auction, Appraisal, And Exchange Services", and a Family Planning office shared 16c from 1986 to 1987.

Linda Anderson died November 21, 2012 and Coldwell Banker Tara Properties closed this office in 2013.
2014: Sweet Mona's Chocolate Boutique
In 2014, Ramona ("Mona") Newbauer purchased the building and moved her chocolate business into the building from across Second Street renaming it "Sweet Mona's Chocolate Boutique."

When Joe's Island Music on Anthes Avenue closed in 2017, a group of musicians including Levi Burkle, James Hinkley and David Licastro. morphed into Whidbey Island Music Instruction (WIMI) located in the space behind Mona's Chocolate Boutique (Suite 16C).

Whidbey Island Music Instruction closed in 2020 and The Tranquil Computer moved into the 16C space.

Darrell Pope opened a stringed instrument repair shop in the space vacated by the Tranquil Computer.
